AFL Barwon is pleased to release some of the key dates for next year as we say ‘Play On’ in 2021.
After a cancelled senior season and interrupted junior season in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, we cannot wait to see our member clubs back out on the field and court safely in 2021.
All three senior leagues in Geelong- the Geelong Football Netball League (GFNL), Bellarine Football Netball League (BFNL) and Geelong & District Football League (GDFL) will stage their Grand Finals on separate weekends, allowing football and netball fans to enjoy the showpiece games.
The Colac and District Football Netball League (CDFNL) will hold their Grand Finals on September 11, with the GDFL Grand Finals to be played on the same date.
The CDFNL and BFNL will reboot senior community sport in the region on April 3rd, with the GFNL, all the Female Football, Under 19 Male Football and Junior Male Football to begin on April 17th.
The CDFNL will begin with a standalone fixture on April 3rd, with their opening round to continue from April 10th.
